Narada is attaching great importance to acting socially and environmentally responsible in all its activities.
For this it respects and preserves the employees' rights and fosters their continued improvement with various training programs and related activities.
It is also fully committed to develop, maintain and apply socially acceptable practices in the workplace as stipulated by the International Standard SA8000 for Social Accountability.
Environment and Health Assurance
NARADA has passed the audit for ISO9001 quality management system, ISO140001 environment management system, ISO18001 occupation healthy safety management system and SA8000 for social responsibility and clean production.
In today's society it's not possible to produce high-quality products without a well-trained workforce and environmentally sound facilities. We devote resources on health, safety and environmental protection.
Some of the regulations that govern manufacturing plants vary among states and counties. Nonetheless we set consistent environmental goals for air, water and waste as well as employee health and safety standards for all of our facilities. Sometimes our goals are more stringent than regulations.
To earn the trust of the people in our communities and the respect of regulators, we take the initiative in communicating with them. We have a large number of active community relationships, such as Chamber memberships and environment improvement programs in the places where our facilities are located.
Education and Training
Our employees receive training when they join the company and they also receive advanced training every year thereafter. The training addresses not just technical competence but also environmental compliance, emergency response and safety procedures as well as human relationship skills that enhance communication, teamwork and initiative. We have seen improvements in a number of areas as a result of our training.
Production is important to us but it's not the sole criterion used to evaluate a plant's performance. We also look at the community involvement by employees of the plant, environmental performance, training and the plant's health and safety record. Ultimately all of these together make Narada a balanced, profitable, safe and socially responsible corporate citizen.
We don't wait around for regulators to knock on our door and inspect our facilities. To keep our plants at peak regulatory performance we have our own team of supervisors. They help assure that our environmental and health practices are in place and the goals are being met.
Narada is committed to comply with National Emission standard of pollutants for battery industry－GB 30484-2013.
Narada strictly enforces national technical specifications for occupational health surveillance－GBZ 188-2014.
As a reference of diagnostic criteria of occupational chronic lead poisoning GBZ37-2002, Narada promotes frequent occupational health and safety education for all employees and offers all workers full physical examination once a year.
Narada applies itself to prevent occupational diseases and provides employees protective clothing, masks and other safety appliances.
These reviews are built on the belief that what gets measured gets improved. We have our own performance standards such as employee blood lead levels and health examinations. Managers are reviewed monthly on their status, progress and priorities. The results are addressed at a meeting.
